# Access to Energy North for AI agents

## Short answer
Everything an AI agent can use at Energy North today is public and read-only. No account, no API key, no OAuth and no payment are needed.

## Limits
- 60 requests a minute per IP address on the connector and on each REST endpoint. Over the limit you get HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header.
- Answers are cached for a few minutes; the journals are refreshed every hour.

## What agents cannot do
Posting a job, buying leads, booking, paying, signing in or contacting a tradesperson are done by a person on the website. They are not open to agents.

Not offered yet. When it is, this file and https://energynorth.uk/.well-known/x402 will list the resources and prices.
